ARMY
Motorola, Incorporated, U.S. Federal Government Markets Division, Hanover,
Maryland, was awarded on March 18, 1996, a firm fixed price, indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity contract (appropriation number and dollar value
will be issued with each delivery order), with an estimated not-to-exceed
cumulative total of $730,173,817 to provide commercial off-the-shelf equipment,
components, and services to purchase, lease or lease with the option to
purchase Base Support Trunked Radio Systems (BSTRS), to enable government
installations to equip base support Crisis Action Teams with trunked radio
systems consisting of various configurations. Work will be performed in
Schaumburg, Illinois (50%), and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (50%), and is expected
to be completed by March 18, 2001. Bids were solicited through the electronic
bulletin board on December 4, 1995, and two bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command,
Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D-L510).
Lockheed Martin, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $3,192,133 increment as
part of a $6,384,266 firm fixed price contract for special repair activity on
the Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS)
for the country of Egypt. Work will be performed in Cairo, Egypt, and is
expected to be completed by March 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated
on January 19, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and
Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-95-G-0004).
General Motors Corporation, Military Vehicle Operations, Rochester Hills,
Michigan, is being awarded a $9,307,800 firm fixed price contract for engines
with containers for 1,800 High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV).
Work will be performed in Moraine, Ohio (70.0%), Toledo, Ohio (15.1%), and
Madison, Indiana (14.9%), and is expected to be completed by December 18, 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were two bids solicited on February 15, 1996, and two bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,
Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-T139).

Contract DAAJ09-96-C-0041, announced February 9, 1996, listed procurement of
Black Hawk helicopter subsystems packages incorrectly. The item should have
been shown as UH-60Q Black Hawk Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) subsystems
packages integrated into government furnished aircraft.

The following contract announced on March 18, 1996 is being retracted:
Contract DAAB07-86-C-K022, GTE Government Systems Division, Taunton,
Massachusetts, awarded a $7,433,603 increment as part of a not-to-exceed
$14,867,206 modification to a firm fixed price with economic price adjustments
contract to provide Soldier Machine Interface, network planning and
engineering, battlefield spectrum management, system administration, data
distribution and planning and map management to the Network Management Tool of
the Mobile Subscriber Equipment System.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Labatt Food Service*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $10,700,000 firm
fixed price indefinite quantity contract to serve as a full food line
distributor. Eighty proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is
expected to be completed by May 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the
fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,

Sun Company, Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $67,027,455
fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel,
JP-8. Three hundred seven proposals were solicited and thirty-five were
received. Work will be performed in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, and is expected
to be completed by April 30, 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the

LL&E Petroleum Marketing, Inc.*, New Orleans, Louisiana, is being awarded a
$41,353,285 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aviation
turbine fuel, JP-8. Three hundred seven proposals were solicited and
thirty-five were received. Work will be
performed in Mobile, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by March 31,

Shell Oil Company, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $200,795,468 fixed price
with economic price adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, grades JP-8

in Deer Park, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 1997. Funds will

Lockheed Martin, Advanced Technology Laboratories, Camden, New Jersey, is
being awarded a $7,007,440 cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract to develop
human performance technologies, component hardware/software technologies and
prototype systems and demonstrate an embedded training system for the AEGIS
Combat System and Combat Training System. Work will be performed in Camden,
New Jersey (72%), and at various subcontractor sites (28%), and is expected to
be completed by April 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad
Agency Announcement with 300 proposals solicited and eight offers received.
The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity
