AIR FORCE

Northorp Grumman Corporation, B-2 Division, Pico Rivera, Calif., is beingawarded a $12,737,381 fixed price incentive fee contract for CCP531FC1, DepotLevel Maintenance Training, the effort is to conduct Depot-Level AcademicTraining to Air Force depot maintenance personnel. In addition, NorthropGrumman B-2 division will develop academic training materials in an electronicformat, visual aids, and provide one session for each transition of instructorservices for no more than 200 repairables (hands on training for no more than50 components) to support depot transitions. Contract is expected to becompleted in September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofcurrent fiscal year. Negotiations were completed in March 1996. AeronauticalSystems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contractingactivity (F33657-87-C-2000, P00649).

SPARTA, Inc, Laguna Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $12,298,359,cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Scientific and Engineering TechnicalAssistance (SETA) services to Operating Location Area C of the PhillipsLaboratory (OL-AC PL) at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. The assistance coversvarious space technology related areas including technical review analysis,design and assessment of various propulsion related technologies, space powerlethality effects, and space vehicles guidance and control. The work will beperformed at Edwards AFB. Contract is expected to be completed in April 1999.Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. Thesolicitation was issued in November 1995. The Air Force Flight Test Center,Edwards AFB, (FO4611-96-C-0001).

General Electric Company, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, Ohio,is being awarded a $10,000,000 cost-plus fixed-fee contract for a basicResearch and Development Task Order Contract for the Engine Model DerivativeProgram (EMDP) which conducts propulsion studies and analysis necessary toidentify air vehicle propulsion systems capabilities enhancements/costownership reductions, and to select propulsion options to meet emerging

warfighter needs. Contract is expected to be completed in December 1998. Thework will be performed at General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation wasissued in September 1995 and negotiations were completed in April 1996.Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is thecontracting activity (F33657-95-D-0089).

NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock, Newport News, Virginia, is beingawarded

a $17,894,000 unpriced order for spare parts in support of the USS Nimitz (CVN68) Class Aircraft Carrier Planned Equipment Replacement Program (CARPERProgram). Work

will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed byJune 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was competitively procured with 10 proposals solicited andone offer received. The Naval

Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is the contractingactivity

(N00104-96-G-0102).

Cambridge Acoustical Associates, Incorporated,* Medford, Massachusetts, isbeing awarded a $7,677,070 indefiite delivery/indefinite quantity,cost-plus-fixed-fee completion

type contract for scientific and engineering services in support of ongoingsurface ship/submarine noise and vibration programs. Work will be performed inMedford, Massachusetts (95%), and Bethesda, Maryland (5%), and is expected tobe completed by April 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was a small business set-aside action with49 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface WarfareCenter, Carderock Division, Bethesda, Maryland, is the contracting activity(N00167-96-D-0007).
