DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennessee Wholesale Drug Company*, Nashville, Tennessee, is being awarded a $35,203,975 firm fixed price contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor Pharmaceuticals program. Six proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Nashville, Tennessee; Huntsville, Alabama; and Tampa, Florida and is expected to be completed by May 12, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0200-94-D-7007).

Continental Foods, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded an estimated $9,000,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for food and beverage support for several military medical and dining facilities under the Prime Vendor acquisition program. Work is expected to be completed by May 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0300-95-D-2938).

ARMY

Fisher Scientific Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was awarded on May 3, 1996, a $150,000 increment as part of a $55,300,000 (estimated potential value) firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide just- in-time laboratory/medical research supplies and equipment to the laboratories of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, located at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., and within the Washington Metropolitan area. Work is expected to be completed by May 5, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 bids solicited on April 17, 1995, and five bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Health Services Command, Washington, D.C. (DADA15-96-D-0004).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Coporation, Information Systems, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $63,194,053 modification to previously awarded contract N00019- 94-C-0222 to exercise an option to procure 51 Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) test stations and printers for the U.S. Navy (48), and the Governments of Switzerland (2) and Italy (1). This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (92%), the Government of Switzerland (5%), and the Government of Italy (3%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Americus, Georgia (90%), and Orlando, Florida (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals, with two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Unisys Corporation, Government Systems Group, St. Paul, Minnesota, is being awarded a $9,920,349 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0156 to procure four anti-surface warfare improvement kits and the installation of the kits into P-3C Update III aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Paul, Minnesota (47%), Greenville, South Carolina (50%), and McKinney, Texas (3%), and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals, with four offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Spartan Building Construction,* New Orleans, Louisiana, is being awarded a $5,550,000 firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of existing Maintenance Hangar 5 at the Naval Air Station, New Orleans, Louisiana. Renovations include mechanical, electrical, communications, plumbing, and fire protection systems; asbestos removal; a 12,000-square foot addition; and demolition both inside and outside of the hanger, along with demolition of two small buildings nearby. Work will be performed in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is expected to be completed by May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 41 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, New Orleans, Louisiana, is the contracting activity (N62467-96-C-0704).
