CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Palmdale, California, is being awarded a $6,132,010 firm fixed price contract to provide for fuselage repairs to one F-117A aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began December 1995 and negotiations were complete April 1996. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (F04735-96/C-0015).

Gencorp-Aerojet, Azusa, California, is being awarded a $20,417,454 face value increase to a fixed price contract to provide for replacement of Medium Wave Infrared modules on three Defense Support Program (DSP) sensors applicable to the DSP early warning satellite. Contract is expected to be completed November 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, California, is the contracting activity (F04701-86/C-0023, P00132).

ARMY

UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Incorporated, Electronics Plastics & Optics Division, Washington, D.C., is being awarded $7,802,874 as part of an estimated, not-to-exceed $49,171,670 firm fixed price contract for various components including cables, battery boxes, and wiring harnesses (not any specific end item). Work will be performed at various locations within the continental United States and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated in January 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-F-0001).

ABB SUSA, Incorporated, North Brunswick, New Jersey, is being awarded $17,157,055 (base bid plus three options) as part of a potential $18,940,629 (including five options) firm fixed

price contract for Ukraine Defense Conversion Housing, apartment buildings and utilities. This project involves the design and construction of 410 apartment units at the Rakova District. The apartments will be occupied by decommissioned Strategic Rocket Forces (SRF) officers and their families. In addition to the dwelling units, the scope of work includes all necessary improvements, utilities, site work, roads, parking areas, and landscaping for a complete and functional turnkey project. This project is the second phase of the overall site development. Work will be performed in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine, and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 48 bids solicited on December 6, 1995, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Virginia (DACA78-96-C-0014).
