CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
General Electric, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is being awarded an
estimated $5,000,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity
contract for CT scanner and MRI systems upgrades. Two proposals
were solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in
New Berlin, Wisconsin; Tokyo, Japan; and Waukesha, Wisconsin, and
is expected to be completed by June 1997. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting
activity (SP0200-95-D-8021).
Koch Refining Co., L.P., Gloucester City, New Jersey, is
being awarded a $7,253,017 fixed price with economic price
adjustment contract for diesel fuel, DL-2; burner oil #2; burner
oil #4; burner oil #6; and diesel fuel, low sulfur no. 2-D. Two
hundred ten proposals were solicited and sixty were received.
Work will be performed in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania,
and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1999. Funds will
not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel
Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting
activity (SP0600-96-D-4029).
Amerada Hess Corporation, Woodbridge, New Jersey, is being
awarded a $17,195,380 fixed price with economic price adjustment
contract for regular unleaded gasoline; diesel fuel, DL-2; and
burner oil #6. Two hundred ten proposals were solicited and
sixty were received. Work will be performed in New Jersey, New
York, and Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed by August
30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.

contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-4025).
American Management Systems, Inc., Fairfax, Virginia, is
being awarded a $7,125,000 cost plus fixed fee contract for
development and application of advanced technology under the
logistics research and development program. Work is expected to
be completed by June 1999. Funds will not expire at the end to
the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0103-
96-D-0021).
ARMY
Bulova Technologies LLC, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is being
awarded a $23,223,995 firm fixed price contract for 247,444 MK399
M001 PD/Delay Fuzes and 195,000 FMU-153/8 PD/Delay Fuzes for use
on various types of artillery shells. Work will be performed in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania (80%), and Clear Lake, South Dakota
(20%), and is expected to be completed by October 31, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 36 bids solicited on October 13, 1995, and six
bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-
Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey
(DAAE30-96-C-0071).
TRW, Incorporated, Electronic Systems and Technology
Division, Redondo Beach, California, is being awarded an
increment of a $9,000,000 modification to a time and materials
contract for Battlefield Combat Identification System (BCIS)
Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), repair and maintenance in
support of Task Force XXI. Work will be performed at Fort Hood,
Texas (75%), Redondo Beach, California (10%), various continental
United States sites (10%), and outside the continental United
States (5%), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999.
This is a sole source contract initiated on April 9, 1996. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and
Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-93-C-
K011).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin, Ocean Radar and Sensor Systems, Syracuse,
New York, is being awarded a $5,607,726 modification to
previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-4109 to develop an
integrated power system for both electric drive propulsion and
ship service power
for naval vessels. Work will be performed in Syracuse, New York,
and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the
contracting activity.
OHM Remediation Services Corporation, Trenton, New Jersey,
is being awarded a $5,513,333 modification to previously awarded
contract N62470-93-D-3032 for environmental remedial actions
including installation of a leachate collection system and the
closure cap for
the landfill site at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River,
Maryland. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Maryland,
and is expected to be completed by April 1997. Contract funds
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
was competitively procured with 296 proposals solicited and nine
offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command,
Atlantic Division, Norfolk Virginia, is the contracting activity.
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace,
St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $460,545,554 modification to
previously awarded contract
N00019-95-C-0015 for the advanced acquisition contract for the
procurement of long lead
items in order to produce ten 1996 F/A-18C and eight F/A-18D
weapon systems and associated

supplies and data. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri
(67%), and Hawthorne, California (33%), and is expected to be
completed by September 1998. Contract funds would not have
expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE ORGANIZATION
TRW Inc., San Bernadino, CA, is being awarded a $105,400,000
cost-plus-fee contract modification for the National Missile
Defense (NMD) Systems Engineering and Integration effort, and the
NMD Battle Management/Command, Control and Communication (BM/C3)
program. The contract modification is the result of the shift in
the NMD program from Technology Readiness to Deployment Readiness
based upon the results of a review completed by the Secretary of
Defense earlier this year. Work is expected to be completed in
August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
modification. The contracting activity is the Ballistic Missile
Defense Organization, Washington, DC.
