CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $37,000,000 face value increase to a time and material contract to provide for CY1996 sustaining engineering services for the Offensive Avionics System and Defensive Management System on the B-1B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity (F34601-94/C-0121, P00090).

Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, Nashua, New Hampshire, is being awarded a $14,719,744 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for 97 Mission Planing Subsystem II units applicable to the Air Force Mission Support System. Contract is expected to be completed August 1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, New Hampshire is the contracting activity (F19628-93/C-0018, P00118).

ARMY

Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $76,702,000 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for T800-LHT-801 growth engine development, flight test engines and spares. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana (50%), and Phoenix, Arizona (50%), and is expected to be completed by March 30, 1999. Of the total contract funds, $76,702,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 23, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0453).

GTE Government Systems Corporation, Communication Systems Division, Taunton, Massachusetts, is being awarded a cost plus award fee/time and materials, and firm fixed price contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with an

estimated cumulative total not-to-exceed $148,234,682 (estimated total 5 year requirements) for technical services for support of AN/TTC-39 and AN-TYC-39 tactical communications switches. Services include operation and maintenance of a system test facility, development of hardware and software enhancements, depot level repair, and field technical assistance. Work will be performed in Taunton, Massachusetts (90%), Germany (5%), and Korea (5%), and is expected to be completed by July 5, 2001. This is a sole source contract initiated on October 27, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D- F308).
