CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

McKesson Drug Company, San Francisco, California, is being awarded a $25,229,804 firm fixed price requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor Pharmaceutical program. Two hundred ninety four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Anaheim, California and is expected to be completed by August 29, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (DLA120-93-D-7001).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

COMSAT Mobile Communications, Bethesda, Md. is being awarded an evaluated $5,535,000 firm fixed price contract for the leased commercial communication service, shore-to-ship via the INMARSAT system for the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Norfolk, Va. in support of the Norfolk Naval Base. This contract was awarded on a competitive basis. The requirement was released under the Defense Information Systems Agency Acquisition Bulletin Board System; one offer was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. (TSR) NXO4JUN960260).

NAVY

AlliedSignal Aerospace, AlliedSignal Engines, Phoenix, Arizona, is being awarded a $20,195,660 firm-fixed-price contract for Phase II of the Universal Jet Air Start Unit Program, which consists of a basic quantity of seven units. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. Stricker Roofing, Incorporated,* Escondido, California, is being awarded a $5,053,725 indefinite quantity contract for roofing and incidental related work at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California, and Naval Ordnance Center, Pacific Division, Fallbrook Annex, Fallbrook, California. Work will be performed in Oceanside, California (98%) and Fallbrook, California (2%), and is expected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 63 proposals solicited and five offers received. R. P. Richards, Incorporated, Goleta, California, is being awarded a $5,385,350 indefinite quantity contract for local area network cable installation and incidental related work at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California. ARMY

Northrop Grumman, Great River, New York, is being awarded a $19,522,043 firm fixed price, time and materials contract for modification of the AN/TPQ-36(V)8 Electronics Upgrade Kit to the FIREFINDER, AN/TPQ-36 Mortar Locating Radar. The system is a weapons locating radar that tracks mortar, artillery and rockets out to twenty- five kilometers. Work will be

performed in Benton Park, Pennsylvania (41%); Great River, New York (56%); and Rolling Meadows, Illinois (3%), and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 6, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-C-8617).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $5,017,794 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for development, test, evaluation and demonstration of advanced radar target identification processor design and development, laboratory testing, data collection, flight testing, demonstration and evaluation. The work will be performed at Northrop Grumman, Baltimore, Maryland (66%) and JJM Systems, Incorporated, Ivyland, Pennsylvania (40%). Contract is expected to be completed February 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 28 firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began April 1996; negotiations were completed July 1996. Rome Laboratory, Rome, New York, is the contracting activity (F30602-96/C-0015).

RJO Enterprises, Hunt Valley, Maryland, is being awarded a $16,235,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for five lots of Depot Level Test Program Sets applicable to the avionics system on the B-2 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 86 firms solicited and 19 proposals received. Solicitation began January 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-96/C-0679).

Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $23,978,564 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for 15 Ground Data Terminals applicable to the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS). Contract is expected to be completed February 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic System Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-93/C-0166, P00020).
