CONTRACTS
NAVY
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is
being awarded a $567,272,824 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to
provide for funding of the FY97 TRIDENT II (D5) Missile
Production and Deployed System Support (P&DSS). Work will be
performed in Sunneyvale, Calif. (47.5%), Rancho Santa Margarita,
Calif. (1.8%), Clearwater, Fla. (1%), Cape Canaveral, Fla.
(6.4%), St. Mary's, Ga. (11%), Magna, Utah (15.8%), Gainsville,
Va. (2.2%), Silverdale, Wash. (3.5%), and at various other
locations throughout the United States (10.8%), and is expected
to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds in the amount
of $233,015,329 would have expired at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The
Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Va., is the
contracting activity

Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Bloomfield, Conn., is being
awarded a $13,239,000 modification to previously awarded contract
N00019-95-C-0127 for long lead materials and services to
manufacture the SH-2G(E) aircraft upgrade for the Egyptian
Government under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work
will be performed in Bloomfield, Conn., and is expected to be
completed by July 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at
the end of
the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pico Rivera, California, is
being awarded a $26,300,606 face value increase to a fixed price
incentive firm target contract to provide for update of
approximately 200 technical orders for the B-2 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base,
Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F33657-87/C-2000, P00756).
Rockwell International Corporation, Anaheim, California, is
being awarded an $11,235,382 cost plus award fee contract to
provide for the Inertial Measurement Unit Performance Data
Processor Modification Program for the Expanded Missile Data
Analysis System applicable to the Minuteman missile system. The
work will be performed at Rockwell International Corporation's
plants in Anaheim, California (20%), and Layton, Utah (40%) and
Boeing Defense & Space Group's plants in Sunset, Utah (30%) and
Seattle, Washington (10%). Contract is expected to be completed
December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 11 firms solicited and one
proposal received. Solicitation began August 1996; negotiations
were completed October 1996. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill
Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-97/C-
0002).
Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Company, San Diego, California,
is being awarded a $24,381,746 cost plus award fee contract to
provide for 32 Miniature Air Launched Decoys (MALDs) and
associated data and software in support of the MALD Advanced
Concept Technology Demonstration. The amount obligated at this
time is $2,700,000. Contract is expected to be completed April
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 41 firms solicited and 4 proposals
received. Solicitation began June 1996; negotiations were
completed October 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air
Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (F08626-96/C-
0168).
Lockheed Martin Federal Services Corporation, Gaithersburg,
Maryland, is being awarded a $54,521,297 face value increase to a
cost plus award fee contract to provide for FY1997 hardware and
software sustainment in support of the Air Force Satellite
Control Network. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin
Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado (70%)
and various other locations. Contract is expected to be
completed October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems
Center, Los Angeles, California, is the contracting activity
(F04701-96/C-0033, P00006).
ARMY
Lockheed Martin, Electronics and Missiles, Orlando, Florida,
is being awarded a delivery order amount of $2,650,000, as part
of a potential $5,300,000 firm fixed price/time and materials
contract for FY97 program system support for the Target
Acquisition Designating System/Pilot Night Vision Sensor
(TADS/PNVS). Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and at
various field locations, and is expected to be completed by
September 30, 1997. This is a sole source contract initiated on
September 30, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-96-C-
0005).
Hughes Information Technology Systems, Vienna, Virginia, is
being awarded a $21,119,000 increment as part of a $203,434,233
(base year and 4 one-year options) cost plus award fee contract
for operational and full coverage maintenance of the National
Imagery Mapping Agency production system; the Military Survey
(United Kingdom) PETROS production
system; and the configuration management system (which supports
both production systems). Work will be performed in Reston,
Virginia (30%); Bethesda, Maryland (30%); St. Louis, Missouri
(30%); and the United Kingdom (10%), and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 48 bids
solicited on April 10, 1996, and one bid was received. The
contracting activity is the National Imagery and Mapping Agency,
Bethesda, Maryland (NMA100-97-C-5007).
Raytheon Support Services Company, Virginia Beach, Virginia,
is being awarded a $4,865,035 modification to a firm fixed price
contract to extend base operation services for an additional six
months under an existing contract. Work will be performed at
Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois, and is expected to be
completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 85 bids solicited
on November 28, 1990, and four bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and
Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA08-92-C-0013).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
NATCO Limited Partnership, Oak Brook, Illinois, was awarded
on October 31, 1996, a $500 increment as part of an $11,899,634
firm fixed price contract for rental of a hopper dredge and
attendant plant. Work will be performed in the Mobile Harbor
Channels, Mobile, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by May
22, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were seven bids solicited on August
6, 1996, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama (DACW01-97-C-
0003).
