ARMY
Hercules Aerospace Co., Radford, Va., is being awarded a
delivery order amount of $41,624,318 for a firm-fixed-price
contract to manufacture 172,134 MK 90 propellant grains at a
government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be
performed in Radford, Va., and is expected to be completed by
Feb. 28, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
March 7, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. The
contract number is DAAA09-94-G-0012.
NAVY
Pacer Infotec, Incorporated, Billerica, Mass., is being
awarded a $23,195,159 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery,
indefinite quantity task order for engineering services for the
weapons support of the EA-6B aircraft. The minimum level of
effort is 43,444 hours and the maximum is 433,440 hours during a
five year period of performance. Work will be performed in Point
Mugu, Calif. (73%), Santa Ana, Calif., (20%), and Lancaster,
Calif. (7%), and is expected to be completed by November 2001.
Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 40
proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air
Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the
contracting activity (N68936-96-D-0035).
Veda Incorporated, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a
$24,408,759 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity task order for engineering services for the weapons
support of the EA-6B aircraft. The minimum level of effort is
43,444 hours and the maximum is 433,440 hours during a five year
period of performance. Work will be performed in Point Mugu,
Calif. (79%), Whidbey Island, Wash. (2%), Arlington, Va. (1%),
and Oxnard, Calif. (18%), and is expected to be completed by
November 2001. Contract funds would not have expired at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 40 proposals solicited and two offers received.

Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-96-D-0033).
Litton Systems Incorporated, Data Systems Division, Agoura
Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $10,508,219 undefinitized
modification to previously awarded contract M67854-96-C-2018 for
development of two AN/TYQ-23 JTIDS prototype systems. The AN/TYQ-
23 JTIDS is a shelterized Joint Tactical Information Distribution
System (JTIDS) that will house a JTIDS terminal and associated
components, provide for an interface to the Tactical Air
Operations Module (TAOM), AN/TYQ-23, and provide space and power
reserve for housing a Global Command Control System
(GCCS)/Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating
Environment (DII COE) for a Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF)
C4I baseline. Work will be performed in Moorepark, Calif., and
is expected to be completed by June 1997. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine
Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting
activity.
ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation, Fairfax, Va., is
being awarded a $6,122,855, indefinite delivery, cost-plus-fixed-
fee, minimum/maximum contract with a guaranteed minimum for the
base year of $308,664 for issuance of delivery orders for
engineering, technical, and logistics support for the Tactical
Support Center (TSC), Tactical Support Center Communications
Module (TCOMM), Mobile Miniature Operations Control Center
(MOCC), and Navy Command and Control System (NCCS) programs at
the Naval Command Control Ocean Surveillance Center, In-service
Engineering (NISE), East Coast Division, St. Inigoes, Md. This
contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the
cumulative value of this contract to $31,942,620. Work will be
performed in Lexington Park, Md., and is expected to be completed
by November 1997. This contract was competitively procured with
103 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Portsmouth
Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, N.H., is the contracting activity
(N00102-97-D-0901).
