CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

CTL Aerospace, Incorporated, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded an $8,913,000 firm- fixed-price contract to provide for 220 (best estimated quantity) middle fan stator rings applicable to the TF-39 engine on the C-5 aircraft. The work will be performed at CTL Aerospace, Cincinnati, Ohio (68%), and Chem- Tronics, Incorporated, El Cajon, Calif., (38%). Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were nine firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation began December 1995; negotiations were complete July 1996. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-96/D-1013).

West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation, Fairmont, W.Va., is being awarded a $9,949,456 cooperative agreement contract to provide for establishment of the National Product Line Asset Center. This facility will test and evaluate commercially developed software products to determine their suitability for use in open architecture computer systems. Contract is expected to be completed November 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were ten firms solicited. Solicitation began June 1996; negotiations were completed October 1996. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-96/H-0001).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Aeronautical Systems Division, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $26,500,000 cost-plus-incentive- fee letter contract to modify a P-3 aircraft for use as a Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) test platform. Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C., and is expected to be completed by May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-5469).

Standard Missile Company, McLean, Va., is being awarded an $8,297,828 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95- C-5324 to exercise an option for WPN engineering and technical support services to support the Standard Missile production for the U.S. Navy and Allied Navies. Work will be performed in McLean, Va. (28%), Tucson, Ariz. (36%), and Bristol, Tenn. (36%), and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
