CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Star Energy Resources Ltd., New York, N.Y., is being awarded a $16,250,922 firm fixed price contract for fuel services and facilities. One hundred eighteen proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in an overseas location and is expected to be completed by Dec. 9, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-C-5710).

Caltex Bahrain, Irving, Texas, is being awarded a $35,514,823 firm fixed price contract for fuel services and facilities. One hundred eighteen proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in an overseas location and is expected to be completed by Dec. 9, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-C-5709).

Multi-Unit Chain Distribution Services, Inc.*, Duluth, Ga., is being awarded an estimated $6,721,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full line food distribution. One hundred fifteen proposals were solicited and five were received. Work will be performed in Windsor, Conn., and is expected to be completed by February 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-97- D-2915).

Trans-Tec Service, Inc.*, Teaneck, N.J., is being awarded a $5,850,494 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for marine gas oil, intermediate fuel oil 380 and intermediate fuel oil 180. Six hundred seventy eight proposals were solicited and forty five were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-0003).

ARMY

Hellfire Systems, Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $2,292,803 increment (first of a 4-year option) of a $16,300,764 cost plus fixed fee contract for on-site depot level maintenance for the HELLFIRE Missile System. Work will be performed in Bynum, Ala. (98%), and Duluth, Ga. (2%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2001. Of the total contract funds $2,191,753 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 3, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-97-C-0006).

J & J Maintenance Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded $7,311,255 (phase-in and base period is the only portion obligated at this time) as part of a $37,011,393 (cumulative total if all options are exercised) cost plus award fee contract for family housing maintenance services and operation of the U-DO- IT Center at Ft. Bragg, N.C., with an expected completion date of Feb. 28, 2001. Of the total contract funds, $3,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 163 bids solicited on Feb. 1, 1996, and 13 bids were received. The contracting activity is the Directorate of Contracting, Ft. Bragg, N.C. (DAKF40-97-C-0275).

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded an $83,384,155 modification to a firm fixed price contract (with two cost-type contract line items) for Radar Enhancement Phase III (ECP) and concurrent spares for the PATRIOT Weapon System. A portion of this contract is for the Netherlands ($22,864,304). Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (28%); Waltham, Mass. (25%); Sudbury, Mass. (15%); Torrence, Calif. (13%); Tewksbury, Mass. (10%); Quincy, Mass. (5%); and Bedford, Mass. (4%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 29, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Huntsville, Ala. (DAAH01-95-C-0446).

AIR FORCE

Today, the Air Force is awarding 3 separate contracts for $33,000,000 each, as follows.

RJO Enterprises, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $33,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Acquisition Logistics Manpower Support for Headquarters, Aeronautical Systems Cneter, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At this time, $25,000,000 of these contract funds are being obligated. There were 120 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/D-2007).

H.J. Ford Associates, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $33,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Acquisition Logistics Manpower Support for Headquarters, Aeronautical Systems Cneter, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The work will be performed at H.J. Ford Associates, Inc., Dayton, Ohio. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At this time, $25,000,000 of these contract funds are being obligated. There were 120 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/D-2008).

ANSTEC Incorporated, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $33,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Acquisition Logistics Manpower Support for Headquarters, Aeronautical Systems Cneter, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The work will be performed at ANSTEC, Inc., Beavercreek, Ohio. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At this time, $25,000,000 of these contract funds are being obligated. There were 120 firms solicited and 21 proposals received. Solicitation began February 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/D-2006).
