CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Readiness Management Support, Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a $452,600,000 cost-reimbursement-award-fee contract to provide for the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP). AFCAP will provide base operating support, temporary construction capabilities, and installation services to support military operations other than war. Contract is expected to be completed February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 firms solicited and six proposals received. Solicitation began September 1996; negotiations were completed January 1997. The 325th Contracting Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08637-97/C-6001).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $5,961,023 cost-plus- fixed-fee contract to provide for development and test of hardware and software to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of programmed depot maintenance by developing technology to improve, standardize, integrate, and make more accessible maintenance technical and management information. Contract is expected to be completed February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 135 firms solicited and nine proposals received. Solicitation began July 1996; negotiations were completed January 1997. Human Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-97/C-5004).

ARMY

GENCORP Aerojet, Azusa, Calif., is being awarded an $81,631,048 firm-fixed-price contract for 600 Sense and Destroy Armor (SADARM) 155mm M898 projectiles, low rate production. Work will be performed in Azusa, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 29, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-97-C-1005). NAVY

Pratt & Whitney Government Engines & Space Propulsion, West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $7,600,000 ceiling-priced basic ordering agreement to procure various quantities of eight separate TF-30 engine Turbine Nozzle Vanes to support the F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in West Palm Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-94-G- B341) (Order 0010).
