CONTRACTS
AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Logistics Management, Arlington, Texas, is
being awarded a $14,671,938 firm-fixed price contract to provide
for nonpersonal services to maintain the T-37, T-38 and AT-38B
aircraft from April 1997 through September 1997 (mobilization in
March 1997). The work will be performed in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 43 firms solicited and six proposals received.
Solicitation began July 1996; negotiations were completed
December 1996. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air
Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-97/C-
0504).
McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis, Mo., is being
awarded a $15,698,195 face value increase to a firm-fixed price
contract to provide for one Aircrew Training System applicable to
the C-17 aircraft. The work will be performed at Flight Safety
International, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (65%) and McDonnell Douglas
Training System, St. Louis, Missouri (35%). Contract is expected
to be completed April 2000. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33657-88/C-0029, P00080).
ARMY
Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc., Owego, N.Y., is being
awarded a $7,481,520 firm-fixed-price contract for Seven RFI
(Radar Frequency Interferometer) with associated support and
spares. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected
to be completed by Nov. 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on June 15, 1996. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command St. Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09-
97-C-0010).
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being
awarded a $14,937,440 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract
(definitize undefinitized contractual action) for two UH-60Q
Medevac helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn.,
and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a
sole source contract initiated on Aug. 8, 1995. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis,
Mo. (DAAJ09-96-C-0041).
NAVY
Logicon Syscon, Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded
an $8,120,118 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract for scientific, engineering, analytical and
technical services for surface anti-submarine warfare. Work
will be performed in Falls Church, Va. (25%), and Middletown,
R.I. (75%), and is expected to be completed by February 2002.
Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 80 proposals solicited and one offer received. The
Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting
activity (N66604-97-D-0399).
