AIR FORCE
Rockwell Science Center, Thousand Oaks, Calif., is being
awarded a $6,078,864 cost- plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for
Development of Advanced Very Long Wavelength Infrared Detectors
(DAVID). Contract is expected to be completed February 2001.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were four firms solicited and three proposals
received. Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were
completed December 1996. Phillips Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force
Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (F29601-97/C-0043).
Santa Barbara Research Center, Goleta, Calif., is being
awarded an $8,080,208 cost-plus- fixed-fee contract to provide
for Development of Advanced Very Long Wavelength Infrared
Detectors (DAVID). Contract is expected to be completed February
2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were four firms solicited and three proposals
received. Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Melbourne, Fla., is being
awarded a $7,620,892 face value increase to a cost-plus-incentive-
fee contract to provide for design, development, integration, and
test of replacements for obsolete hardware and software in the
Radar Control Unit of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar
System (JSTARS). Contract is expected to be completed February
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Electronic Systems Command, Hanscom Air Force Base,
Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-90/C-0197, P00104).
Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being
awarded a $7,752,025 requirements contract to provide for CY 1997-
98 Engineering Technical Services in support of the F-16
aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received.
Solicitation began April 1996; negotiations were completed
November 1996. This effort supports foreign military sales to
Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, Indonesia, Jordan, Korea, Thailand,
Taiwan, Turkey, and Venezuela. Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33600-97/D-0038).
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being
awarded an $8,154,809 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-
fee contract to provide for restructure of Phase One of the
Extended Airborne Global Launch Evaluator (EAGLE) Prototype
Program to meet the revised funding profile. Contract is
expected to be completed July 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems
Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. is the contracting activity
(F19628-95/C-0180, P00009).
ARMY
Longbow LLC, Martin Marietta Millimeter Technologies Inc.
and Northrop Grumman Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a
$233,711,092 firm-fixed-price contract for low rate initial
production (LRIP II) and launchers for the Longbow Weapon System;
1,056 missiles and 203 launchers. Work will be performed in
Orlando, Fla. (50%) and Baltimore, Md. (50%), and is expected to
be completed by May 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on April 3, 1996. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-97-
C-0082).
MEVATEC Corp.*, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a
$392,228 increment of a $5,141,670 modification to a cost-plus-
fixed-fee/level of effort contract to exercise a portion of
Option I, CLIN 0003, cost analysis research and estimating. Work
will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be
completed by Jan. 10, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 57 bids solicited
on July 26, 1995, and five bids were received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command,
Huntsville, Ala. (DASG60-96-C-0012).
Brava Inc.*, Danville, Calif., is being awarded a $7,220,487
firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a hazardous
material storage addition to an existing warehouse at the Defense
Depot Joint Complex, Tracy, Calif. Work is expected to be
completed by April 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 45 bids solicited
on Nov. 13, 1996, and nine bids were received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Claif.
(DACA05-97-C-0077).

NDI Engineering Co., Thorofare, N.J., is being awarded a
$6,145,450 cost-plus-fixed-
fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Fleet
Technical Services and In-Service Engineering Services in support
of shipboard/shore-based operational forces. Work will be
performed in Lakehurst, N.J., and is expected to be completed by
February 2002. Contract funds would not have expired at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 130 proposals solicited and four offers received.
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting

The M&T Co., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a
$6,446,893 cost-plus-fixed-
fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Fleet
Technical Services and In-Service Engineering Services in support
of shipboard/shore-based operational forces. Work will be
performed in Lakehurst, N.J., and is expected to be completed by
February 2002. Contract funds would not have expired at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 130 proposals solicited and four offers received.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St.
Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $8,771,319 modification to
previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0051 to provide
additional funds for the procurement of computer based trainers,
simulated aircraft maintenance trainers, aircrew trainers,
maintenance O level training courseware, and weapons tactics
trainers for the Finnish F/A-18C/D aircraft weapons system. This
modification covers procurement for the government of Finland
under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work
will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (67%), and Hawthorne, Calif.
(33%), and is expected to be completed by December 1997.
Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current
fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is
the contracting activity.
AIL Systems, Inc., Deer Park, N.Y., is being awarded an
$11,665,722 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-
C-0100 to exercise an option for 25 Universal Exciter Upgrade
Units for the EA-6B aircraft. Work will be performed in Deer
Park, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by October 1999.
Contract funds would not have expired at the end
of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command,

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being
awarded a $41,027,025 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-95-C-2102 to exercise an option for procurement of
engineering development and design studies effort related to
current and
future submarine platforms. Work will be performed in Newport
News, Va., and is expected
to be completed by February 1999. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current
fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is
the contracting activity.
Correction: Contract N66604-97-D-0399 for Logicon Syscon, Inc.,
announced February 6, 1997 should have stated Naval Undersea
Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., as the contracting
activity.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
North Central Sight Services, Inc., Williamsport, Pa., is
being awarded a $23,502,709 firm- fixed-price contract for
nonflexible disks. One proposal was solicited and one was
received. Work is expected to be completed by 2002. The Defense
Supply Center Columbus, Columbus,
Ohio, is the contracting activity (SPO970-97-D-P003).
Food Services of America, Kent, Wash., is being awarded a
$12,290,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for
full line food service. Forty seven proposals were solicited and
three were received. Work is expected to be completed by April
1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The
