DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

AT&T Government Markets, Washington, D.C., is being awarded a fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a ceiling price of $125,000,000 for the Defense Information System Network Video Services-Global requirement. The contract life is for a three-year multi-base period with two one-year options. The contractor will provide multi-vendor interoperability, dedicated video services including secure and nonsecure, point-to-point and multi-point bridging, a reservation/scheduling system, video services management and monitoring, provisioning and user-site network interface equipment. The requirement was solicited and awarded on a full and open competition basis: 228 vendors were solicited and two offers were received. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (DCA200-97-D-0054).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig, Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $57,356,250 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Six proposals were solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Rio Rancho, N.M.; Dallas, Texas; Sugarland, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; and Tulsa, Okla., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 27, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-94-D-7003).

AIR FORCE

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $7,995,884 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 52 Low Pressure Turbine Nozzle Segments applicable to the F101-100 engine on the B-1 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began February 1997; negotiations were completed February 1997. Oklahoma Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97/G-0002-0035).

Parker Hannifin Corporation, Andover, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,873,500 firm-fixed- price contract to provide for 232 Spraybar Modification Kits applicable to the F-101 engine on the B-1B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed April 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began September 1996; negotiations were completed October 1996. Oklahoma Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F09603-96/G-0020-SD02).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,422,393 firm- fixed-price contract to provide for maintenance training for the F-16A/B Block 20 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. This effort supports foreign military sales to Taiwan. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-97/G-0001-5001).

Boeing Aerospace Operations, Inc., Midwest City, Okla., is being awarded a $31,000,000 time and materials contract to provide for engineering support from March through September 1997 for the following aircraft: VC-25, C-137, E-4B, T/CT-43, TC/EC- 18, C-22 and E-8. Contract is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Negotiations were completed February 1997. Oklahoma Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97/C-0211).

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pico Rivera, Calif., is being awarded a $29,345,315 face value increase to a cost-plus-award- fee contract to provide for CY 1997 Interim Contractor Support for operational B-2 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Mackone Development Inc., Los Angeles, Calif., is being awarded a $5,452,320 firm- fixed-price contract to provide for repair and renovation of four dormitory buildings at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The contractor will replace the existing facilities with modular dormitory rooms. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 28 firms solicited and four proposals received. Solicitation began January 1997; negotiations were completed February 1997. The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04684-97/C-0017).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $18,458,000 face value increase to a fixed-price incentive contract to provide for funding of a billing price adjustment to cover excess costs for the Peace Onyx 1 F-16 program pursuant to the incentive price revision clause of the basic contract. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Turkey. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657--82/C-2120, P02005).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,153,536 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering, support, logistics, and configuration management services related to airframe engineering changes for the Remanufactured AV-8B Harrier II Plus aircraft program. Work will be performed in Hazelwood, Mo., and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0185).

Northrup Grumman Norden Systems, Inc., Melville, N.Y., is being awarded a $45,844,876 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to design, develop, fabricate, and test the Generic Acoustic Stimulation System. Work will be performed in Melville, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by February 2003. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals with 43 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0073).

Virtexco Corp., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $12,378,945 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a two-story 6,030 square meter steel frame building for use as the Wargaming and Research Center at the Armed Forces Staff College, Norfolk, Va. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 151 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-95-C-5043).

Vitro Corp., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $7,931,601 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6430 for engineering and technical services for the DDG 51 AEGIS Class Destroyers. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed by February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Service Co., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $5,575,648 cost-plus-fixed-fee, Basic Ordering Agreement for the overhaul of NATO Seasparrow Surface Missile System for the Port Hueneme Division Naval Surface Warfare Center. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Va. (80%); and Irvine, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $1,100,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-G-5467).

Techstar, Inc., City of Industry, Calif., is being awarded a $5,300,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the fabrication of Gallium Arsenide on Germanium (GaAs/Ge) solar cells and the bonding of such cells to government provided substrates. Work will be performed in City of Industry, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00014-97-C-2019).

ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems, Muskegon Operations, Muskegon, Mich., is being awarded a $5,943,710 firm-fixed-price contract for 30 M60 engines for the M60 tank, with support kits, for Egypt. Work will be performed in Muskegon, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 19, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-T168).

Olin Corp., Defense Systems Group, Winchester Division, Independence, Mo., is being awarded a $19,931,138 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract for various small caliber ammunition. Work will be performed at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $233,988 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 25, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-91-Z-0009).

ACC Construction Co. Inc., Augusta, Ga., is being awarded a $7,807,113 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a single story Consolidated Troop Medical Clinic (approx. 57,490 gross sq. feet) consisting of administrative areas, examination rooms, laboratories, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy, and patient waiting areas. The project will include all plumbing, medical gases, alarms, HVAC, electrical, and other required systems designed to make the facility complete and usable. Support facilities will include utilities, parking, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, landscaping, site improvements and storm drainage. Work will be performed at Fort Bragg, N.C., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 85 bids solicited on Oct. 24, 1996, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Ga. (DACA21-97-C-0020).
