CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Pride Companies, L.P.*, Abilene, Texas, is being awarded a
$5,217,595 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for aviation turbine fuel, JP5. Three hundred seventeen
proposals were solicited and thirty were received. Work will be
performed in North Abilene, Texas, and is expected to be
completed by April 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of
the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir,
Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-0472).
AIR FORCE
GTE Government Systems Corp., El Segundo, Calif., is being
awarded a $24,518,438 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to exercise the fourth annual option period for
Contractor Logistics Support to provide services, materials and
support equipment for the on-site and per-call
preventative/remedial maintenance for the AN/GY1-50(V)
Intelligence host Processing Systems. Contract is expected to be
completed May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center,
Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-93/D-0640,
P00006).
ARMY
New Mexico Technology Group, LLC (dba NEWTEC), Alamogordo,
N.M., is being awarded an increment of a $180,634,580 cost plus
award fee contract for the operation, maintenance, research and
development and other support of facilities, systems and
equipment to meet the White Sands Missile Range test operations
mission. Included are range operations services, to include the
Aerial Cable facility and the Large Blast Thermal Simulator,
material test services, development engineering services, nuclear
effects services, communications and audio visual services, and
support for the High Speed Test Track at Holloman Air Force Base,
N.M. This contract consolidates effort now being performed under
six separate contracts. The contract period is five years and
contains two, two-year options, for a total of nine years if all
options are

exercised, with an estimated total amount of $333,547,919. Work
will be performed at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and is
expected to be completed by March 31, 2002. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 305
bids solicited on May 31, 1996, and three bids were received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation
Command, White Sands, N.M. (DAAD07-97-C-0108).
Holmes & Narver Inc., Orange, Calif., is being awarded an
$18,241,034 firm fixed price contract to design/build/replace
family housing. This project is for 140 family units, to include
concrete work, rough and finish carpentry, mechanical, plumbing,
and electrical work; infrastructure work to include new streets,
sidewalks, utilities to support the new housing units,
landscaping and recreational spaces; utility infrastructure work
to include water lines, sanitary sewer lines, and electrical
distribution system. Work will be performed at Whiteman Air
Force Base, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30,
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 48 bids solicited on Oct. 2, 1996, and
five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M. (DACA47-97-C-0008).
NAVY
Boro Developers, Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., is being
awarded a $16,829,266 firm-fixed-price contract for the Defense
Logistics Agency Inventory Control Point relocation to Naval
Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) in Philadelphia, Pa. The total
contract amount is not to exceed $26,512,580. Work will be
performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed
by January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 32 proposals solicited and four offers received.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northern Division,
Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N62472-94-C-0012).
