CONTRACTS

ARMY

Cadillac Gage Textron Inc., Textron Marine & Land Systems, New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $5,094,593 increment as part of a $39,627,872 cost plus incentive fee contract for Lightweight 155mm Howitzer engineering and manufacturing development. This is a joint U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army program with the objective of developing and fielding a direct support and general support artillery system. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 bids solicited on April 10, 1996, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank- automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30- 97-C-1032).

General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $10,349,144 undefinitized contractual action contract for 20 engine series T700 spare part requirements for the UH60 Black Hawk helicopter. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 22, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Mo. (F34601-97-G-0002).

Boeing Defense & Space Group, Missiles & Space Division, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded an $11,016,600 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise the option for 60 Bradley Linebacker Kits plus enhancements. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by May 15, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Feb. 9, 1995, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-95-C-0137).

Unisys Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost plus fixed fee contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with a cumulative total of $22,455,917, to provide technical support services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Program Analysis & Evaluation), for the development and maintenance of the non-U.S. conventional forces data base management systems. Work will be performed at the Pentagon, and Crystal City, Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 75 bids solicited on Sept. 23, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service- Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-0022).

GRC Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost plus fixed fee contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with a cumulative total of $26,043,050, to provide technical support services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Program Analysis & Evaluation), for the development and maintenance of the non-U.S. conventional forces data base management system. Work will be performed at the Pentagon, and Crystal City, Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. NAVY

Harris Corp., RF Communications Group, Rochester, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,217,750 modification to previously awarded contract N00039-93-C-0064 to procure and install AN/URC-() Broadband Radio Communications Systems and Checkout Kits for the DDG-51 class Navy ships. Work will be performed in Rochester, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $15,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00030-96-C-0097 to exercise an option for the procurement of additional hardware and/or Memorandum of Re- Qualification Agreement (MORA) effort based on the negotiated values for the hardware and MORA effort under the Missile Production Item 0001 supporting the TRIDENT II (D5) Production and Deployed Systems Support contract. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Wayland, Mass., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $44,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-5158 for advance procurement/long lead material for AEGIS Weapon System OT-146/SPY-1D Transmitter Group, OT-188/SPY-1D(V) Transmitter Group and Fire Control System (FCS) MK99 MOD 3 Ancillary Equipment for USN and FMS requirements. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (33%), and the government of Spain (67%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.

Work will be performed in Wayland, Mass., and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity

Hughes Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $17,096,367 modification to previously awarded contract N00019- 94-C-0257 to exercise an option for recertification of 250 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles of Surface Ship, Torpedo Tube Launch, and Capsule Launch System missiles; seven Recovery Exercise Modules; Refurbishment of 10 Flotation Assemblies; and Refurbishment, Assembly and Test of 10 REM Common Kits and all supporting documentation. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

J&J Maintenance, Inc., Austin, Texas, was awarded on March 14, a $6,406,750 firm fixed price contract to provide for repair and renovation of 133 units of military family housing at Laughlin AFB, Texas. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 54 firms solicited and 5 proposals received. Solicitation began January 1997; negotiations were completed March 1997. The 47th Contracting Squadron, Laughlin AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41685-97/C-0005).

Logicon Information Technology Group, San Pedro, Calif., is being awarded a $25,031,830 cost plus award fee contract to provide for transition, integration, evaluation, and demonstration of technologies developed for the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency, Joint Forces Air Component Commander, and After Next Program. This program is a computerized system for better command and control of operations, mission planning, and targeting. Contract is expected to be completed September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began May 1996; negotiations were completed March 1997. Rome Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (F30602-97/C-0056).
