ARMY
UNISYS Corp., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a cost plus
fixed fee contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be
issued with each delivery order) with a cumulative total of
$48,144,209, for technical support services for the Office of the
Secretary of Defense (Program Analysis & Evaluation), for
development and maintenance of the U.S. Conventional Forces
Database. Work will be performed in the Pentagon, Arlington,
Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2002.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 48 bids solicited on Sept. 27, 1996, and two
bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense
Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-0029).
GRC Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a cost plus fixed

development and maintenance of the U.S. Conventional Forces

Hughes Technical Services Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being
awarded a $1,750,000 increment as part of a $9,000,000 time and
materials multi-year contract for service of depot-level repair
of thermal imaging-sights in support of the M1/M1A2 tank. Work
will be performed in Long Beach, Calif., and is expected to be
completed by April 30, 1998. Contracting funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on Dec. 18, 1996. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island,
Ill. (DAAE20-97-C-0099).
NAVY
Allied Signal, Inc., Guidance and Control Systems,
Teterboro, N.J., is being awarded a $20,678,879 firm-fixed-
price/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the retrofit conversion of
24 MQM-8X Fleet and MQM-8G Standard VANDAL targets into MQM-8G
Extended Extended Range
(EER) targets, deport repair, GFE refurbishment and engineering
services. Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Ind., and is
expected to be completed by June 1999. Contract funds in the
amount of $1,137,280 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, Calif., is the
contracting activity (N68936-97-C-0166).
AIR FORCE
CORRECTION: On March 27, we announced a $190,000,000 contract to
Adroit Systems, Alexandria, Va., Modern Technologies Corp.,
Dayton Ohio and Support Systems Associates, Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y.
Task order requirements will be competed among the three
contractors and will be funded from the program maximum indicated
above. At this time, $25,000 in funds have been obligated to each
of the three contractors. The obligated funds amount stated
yesterday was incorrect.
