AFTAC Airmen in Antarctica Battling high winds and frigid temperatures, seismic maintainers from the Air Force Technical Applications Center based at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., receive fuel resupply via helicopter from the National Science Foundation at AFTAC’s repeater site at Mount Newell, Antarctica, Nov. 1, 2017.
