Contracts For Jan. 26, 2017

CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Infoscitex Corp., Littleton, Massachusetts (FA8650-14-D-6500 P00008); and Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Boulder, Colorado (FA8650-14-D-6501 P00006), have each been awarded a modification for a $75,000,000 shared ceiling increase to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite/quantity contract for the Human Interface Research and Technology program. Contractors will provide additional research regarding the discovery, development, and delivery of revolutionary cognitive engineering, team decision making, human perception, performance, and cognitive technologies to deliver persistent situation awareness and improved warfighter decision making for synchronized Air Force operations in air, space, and cyberspace. Work will be performed at Dayton, Ohio; and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by May 28, 2020. No funds are being obligated at time of award.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana, has been awarded a $73,618,490 undefinitized contract action task order (FA8504-17-F-0007) to previously awarded contract FA8504-17-D-0002 for C-130J propulsion long term sustainment. Contractor will provide sustainment support, inventory control point management, repair, sustaining engineering support, and technical data in support. Work will be performed at Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be complete by July 31, 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $54,845,626 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

PAE Applied Technologies LLC, Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $9,215,081 modification (P00131) to exercise an option on previously awarded contract FA3010-13-C-0007 for base operations support services. Work will be performed at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, and is expected to be complete by May 31, 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $6,481,200 are being obligated at the time of award. The 81st Contracting Squadron, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $53,530,167 fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the Trident (D5) MK 6 guidance system production with failure verification, test, repair and recertification of inertial measurement units, electronic assemblies, and electronic modules.  The work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota (27.34 percent); Clearwater, Florida (25.19 percent); Cambridge, Massachusetts (24.39 percent); and Pittsfield, Massachusetts (23.08 percent), and is expected to be completed Jan. 30, 2021.  Fiscal 2017 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $45,663,167; and United Kingdom funds in the amount of $7,867,000 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00030-17-C-0008).  

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. - Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded $22,716,266 for modification P00007 to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00030-16-C-0015) to provide support for technical engineering services, design and development engineering, component and full scale test and evaluation engineering, and tactical underwater launcher hardware production to support the development and production of the Common Missile Compartment.  This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the maximum value of the contract to $198,048,723.  Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, California (55 percent); Ridgecrest, California (20 percent); Cape Canaveral, Florida (10 percent); Bangor, Washington (5 percent); Kings Bay, Georgia (5 percent); Barrow-In-Furness, England (2 percent); New London, Connecticut (1 percent); Quonset Point, Rhode Island (1 percent); and Arlington, Virginia (1 percent), with an expected completion date of September 2020.  Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $22,716,266 are being obligated on this award; none of which expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Owego, New York, is being awarded $19,996,526 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 4011 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-14-G-0019) for the integration of advanced off-board electronic warfare into the MH-60R/S aircraft avionics operating program.  Work will be performed in Owego, New York, and is expected to be completed in December 2020.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,250,000 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell International Inc., Torrance, California, is being awarded $7,641,146 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 7065 under previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00383-14-G-001D) for the repair of various parts in support of the V-22 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Torrance, California, and work is expected to be completed by August 2018.  Fiscal 2017 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $7,641,146 will be obligated to fund the delivery order, and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  One firm was solicited for this non-competitive requirement in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, with one offer received.  Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity. 


ARMY

Raytheon, Andover, Massachusetts, was awarded a $12,552,161 modification (P00038) to foreign military sales (Taiwan, Spain, Kuwait, Israel) contract W31P4Q-14-C-0093 for procurement of engineering services for calendar year 2016 for the  PATRIOT.  Work will be performed in multiple locations with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2018.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement (Army) funds in the amount of $8,311,979; and fiscal year 2010 other funds in the amount of $4,240,183 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

JCB Inc., Pooler, Georgia, was awarded a $7,903,417 modification (P0008) to contract W56HZV-14-D-0066 for procurement of 33 tan high mobility engineer excavators.  Work will be performed in Pooler, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 30, 2018.  Fiscal 2017 other funds in the amount of $7,903,417 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan. is the contracting activity.
