NAVY

 

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, California, was awarded a $47,282,674 modification to a previously awarded, cost-plus-award-fee, incentive-fee contract (N00024-11-C-4400) for USS Cowpens (CG 63) fiscal 2016 special selected restricted availability (SRA).   A special SRA includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities.  This modification includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $47,747,675.  Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by October 2016.  Fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance (Navy); and fiscal 2015 other procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $47,282,674 will be obligated at time of award, and funds in the amount of $34,116,104 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.  (Awarded on March 8, 2016)

 

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $37,615,875 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024 13 C-5403) to exercise an option for Standard Missile-2 and Standard Missile-6 engineering and technical services to ensure continuity in production, design integrity, and total systems integration of the missile round and its components.  Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona (98 percent); St. Petersburg, Florida (1 percent); and Sacramento, California (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2017.  Fiscal 2015 and 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy); fiscal 2015 weapons procurement (Navy); and foreign military sales funding in the amount of $37,615,875 will be obligated at time of award, and funds in the amount of $23,480 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

United Launch Services, LLC, Centennial, Colorado, has been awarded a $41,894,000 modification (P00014) to previously awarded contract FA8811-13-C-0002 for Global Positioning System (GPS) III-02/ Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS)-10 Mission Swap. Contractor will provide a Delta IV (5,4) launch vehicle with the required hardware modifications, replacements, etc. for the WGS-10 Mission in place of the GPS III-02 Mission. Work will be performed at Centennial, Colorado; Decatur, Alabama; Cape Canaveral, Florida and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and is expected to be complete by Nov. 30, 2018. Fiscal 2015 missile procurement funds in the amount of $39,170,407 are being obligated at the time of award. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, California, is the contracting activity.

 

ARMY

 

Engineering Research and Consulting Inc.,* Huntsville, Alabama, was awarded a $44,121,689 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with options for missile and sensor test support for Redstone Test Center.  One bid was solicited with one received, with an estimated completion date of March 24, 2017.  Funding and work location will be determined with each order.  Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W91CRB-16-D-0009).

 

Tower Industries Inc.,* Greenville, Wisconsin, was awarded a $38,365,882 firm-fixed-price foreign military sales contract (Canada, Taiwan) for iron practice bombs.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received.  Work will be performed in Greenville and Shawano, Wisconsin, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2020.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $38,365,882 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is the contracting activity (W52P1J-16-C-0025).

 

Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a $30,575,449 modification (1Q0144) to contract W911SE-11-D-2010 for the Mission Command Training Center, Ft. Hood, Texas, and supporting installations, with an estimated completion date of March 22, 2017.  Funding and location will be determined with each order.  Army Contracting Command, Ft. Hood, Texas, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Tullahoma Industries LLC,** Tullahoma, Tennessee, has been awarded a maximum $25,482,000 modification (P00126) exercising the third one-year option period of a one-year base contract (SPM1C1-13-D-1033) with four one-year option periods for four types of Army trousers. This is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Locations of performance are Tennessee, Alabama, and North Carolina, with a March 12, 2017, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2016 through fiscal 2017 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
