Flag Officer Assignments

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

 

Navy Capt. Darius Banaji for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Banaji is currently serving as director, Maritime Headquarters, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

 

Navy Capt. Carl P. Chebi for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Chebi is currently serving as program manager for Air Warfare, PMA-298, Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft Programs, Patuxent River, Maryland.

 

Navy Capt. Blake L. Converse for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Converse is currently serving as chief of staff, Submarine Force Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia.

 

Navy Capt. Charles B. Cooper II for appointment to the rank of Rear Adm. (lower half).  Cooper is currently serving as director, Surface Warfare Officer Distribution and Career Management Division (PERS 41), Millington, Tennessee. 

 

Navy Capt. Tina A. Davidson for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Davidson is currently serving as deputy director, Medical Resources, Plans and Policy Division, N0931, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Navy Capt. Paul T. Druggan for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Druggan is currently serving as major program manager for AEGIS Integrated Combat Systems, Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Washington, District of Columbia. 

 

Navy Capt. Donald D. Gabrielson for appointment to the rear admiral (lower half).  Gabrielson is currently serving as executive assistant to commander, U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.

 

Navy Capt. David A. Goggins for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Goggins is currently serving as major program manager, Ohio replacement, Program Executive Office for Submarines, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Navy Capt. Richard D. Heinz for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Heinz is currently serving as division chief, Strategy and Readiness, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, District of Columbia. 

 

Navy Capt. Alvin Holsey for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). Holsey is currently serving as special assistant to director, J3, Joint Staff, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Navy Capt. Jeffrey T. Jablon for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Jablon is currently serving as special assistant, Plans, J5, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

 

Navy Capt. Stephanie T. Keck for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).  Keck is currently serving as chief, Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group Fellow, Newport, Rhode Island.
