Roadside Bomb Kills Five U.S. Soldiers Near Baghdad

WASHINGTON, Jan. 5, 2006 – Five Task Force Baghdad soldiers died today when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb during a patrol in the Baghdad area, military officials in Iraq said today.

The soldiers' names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
