Engineers Sign 5-Star Support for Guard, Reserve

WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2005 The chief of the Army Corps of Engineers today signed a "5-Star" statement of support for its National Guard and Reserve employees with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve at a ceremony in Philadelphia.
 Army Lt. Gen. Carl A. Strock, chief of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and David P. Tebo, South Central Pennsylvania area chairman for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, display the 5-Star statement of support Strock signed in Philadelphia on Nov. 8 on behalf of the Corps. Army Lt. Gen. Carl A. Strock signed the document as David P. Tebo, South Central Pennsylvania area chairman for ESGR, looked on, along with more than 50 Corps of Engineers personnel, family members and ESGR supporters.
"A number of USACE employees and contractors are National Guard and Reserve members," Tebo said. "Signing of the 5-Star statement of support is an outstanding way to demonstrate to these employees that their commitment to serving our country is recognized at the highest level and fully appreciated throughout the entire organization."
