WASHINGTON, Nov. 19, 2004 – I'd like to wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving. Among the many blessings Americans can be thankful for is the fact that every day, brave service men and women are willing to go into harm's way to defend our freedom.

Whether far from home on this great American holiday or in the company of family and friends, you are doing great work at an important time. You make me very proud.
