American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16, 1996 – The Air Force is reminding members of its sexual harassment hot line, (800) 558-1404, in the wake of sexual assault and harassment allegations surfacing at the Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

The number is in addition to other established service means for reporting misconduct allegations, including local chains of command and base social action offices. The hot line, at the Air Force Personnel Center, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, will be staffed around the clock through Nov. 27. After that, the hot line will return to its normal hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., CST.
