An Affair to Remember National Guard Bureau WASHINGTON, June 2, 1998 – An Affair to Remember

Defense Secretary William Cohen re-enlists Air Force Staff Sgt. Lonnie Allen aboard an E-4B aircraft en route from Brasilia, Brazil, to Andrews Air Force Base, Md. Allen, a radar and secure voice operator, took the oath May 27. The aircraft carried the secretary and his staff from Washington to Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
