Army Golden Knights Release 1997 Schedule

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 1997 The Golden Knights -- the Army's parachute team -- released its performance schedule for 1997.
The team, headquartered at Fort Bragg, N.C., will appear at 62 events in 31 states this season. It will also make one international appearance, performing at the Ottawa Air Show in Canada.
The unit tours in two teams -- Black and Gold. Since 1959, The Golden Knights have performed over 9,000 live aerial demonstrations throughout all 50 states and 45 foreign countries. The team also produced nearly 100 national and 22 world champions.
