Pentagon Sept. 11 Ceremony Satellite Broadcast Set

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10, 2002 The Pentagon's observance of the first anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on America will be broadcast live by satellite starting at 9:30 a.m. EDT.
Broadcast data for the ceremony are coordinates: Ku-Band Galaxy 10/Transponder 23; downlink frequency: 12160 MHz (vertical); location: 123 degrees west; audio: 6.2/6.8.
President Bush, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Air Force Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are scheduled to address the assemblage. Also taking part are the Army and Marine Corps bands and the Army and Navy chiefs of chaplains.
Guests include surviving families and personnel, Pentagon workers, members of Congress, local and state leaders of Virginia and Maryland, schoolchildren, and numerous foreign ambassadors and defense attaches.
