Iraqi Forces Arrest 11 Terrorism Suspects

WASHINGTON, April 27, 2010 Iraqi forces working with U.S. advisors arrested 11 terrorism suspects in combined operations yesterday and today in Iraq, military officials reported.
A suspected al-Qaida in Iraq leader who is suspected of being involved in assassinations and bank robberies in the Mansour area was arrested today west of Baghdad, along with a suspected associate.
In Baghdad and Baqouba yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested a suspected al-Qaida in Iraq member believed to be responsible for roadside-bomb attacks, as well as eight suspected associates, during combined operations with U.S. advisors.
