CONTRACTS


U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND


AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a maximum of $475,000,000 for mid-endurance unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services at multiple locations worldwide.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $150,000 are being obligated at time of award. This contract was a competitive acquisition and eight responsive proposals were received. The contract includes a 54-month period of performance, with four 12-month ordering periods followed by one six-month ordering period. Estimated completion date is July 2022. The contract minimum amount is $150,000 and the contract maximum ceiling amount is $475,000,000 over the life of the contract. This contract and resulting delivery orders shall be funded with operations and maintenance appropriations and is not a multiyear contract. U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida, is the contracting activity (H92222-17-D-0002).

NAVY

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Washington, is being awarded $70,813,700 for modification P00003 under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-16-C-0054) to exercise an option to procure six full rate production Lot I RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for the Navy (3) and the Marine Corps (3).  The UAS consists of air vehicles, ground control stations, multi-mission (plug and play) payloads, launch and recovery equipment, and systems engineering and program management.  Work will be performed in Bingen, Washington (70 percent); and Hood River, Oregon (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2018.  Fiscal 2017 overseas contingency operations aircraft procurement (Navy); and fiscal 2017 procurement (Marine Corps) funds in the amount $70,813,700 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Cabrera Services,* East Hartford, Connecticut, was awarded an $8,141,296 modification (PDJ02) to contract W912P4-07-D-0002 for remediation for the Environmental Protection Agency at the former Eagle Zinc manufacturing facility and includes clearing, concrete demolition, care of water, excavation, embankment work, riprap, geotextile, residual solidification, fencing and landscaping.  Work will be performed in Hillsboro, Illinois, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 29, 2018.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $8,141,296 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis, Missouri, is the contracting activity.

Mississippi Limestone Corp.,* Friars, Mississippi, was awarded a $7,604,941 firm-fixed-fee contract for Mississippi River and tributaries articulated concrete mattress casting.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received. Work will be performed in Delta, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2017.  Fiscal 2017 other funds in the amount of $7,604,941 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg, Mississippi, is the contracting activity (W912EE-17-C-0002).

Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Virginia, was awarded a $7,475,308 modification (P003692) to contract W31P4Q-05-A-0031 to replicate the pilot-vehicle interface between the UH-60M Black Hawk aircrew trainer, and the utility helicopter.  Work will be performed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2017.  Fiscal 2015 other procurement (Army) funds in the amount of $7,475,308 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
