AIR FORCE

 

General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $409,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for next generation thermal, power, and controls (NGT-PAC). The contract for the NGT-PAC program, which is a multiple government agency and industry joint effort to develop revolutionary and innovative technologies by the 2024 timeframe that will conduct applied research to increase knowledge and understanding of future power, thermal and controls requirements while advancing technology development, in an effort to prove technological feasibility and assess operability and producibility of thermal, power, and controls components and architectures through proof of principal demonstrations. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by July 2024. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition, and seven offers were received. No specific funds are being obligated on the basic IDIQ, although, in conjunction with the basic IDIQ award, task order 1 (FA8650-17-F-2404) is fully funded with fiscal year 2017 research and development funds in the amount of $106,244 at time of award.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-17-D-2403).

 

CYE Enterprises Inc., Jacksonville, Florida, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $24,990,990 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the repair and/or replacement of roofs.  This contract provides for the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and all other items or services necessary to perform all operations in connection with the repair and replacement of roofs on an as-needed basis at various facilities.  Work will be performed at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, and is expected to be complete by July 31, 2022.  This award is the result of a competitive acquisition that was set aside for small business concerns, and 15 offers were received.  Air Force Test Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (FA2823-17-D-4002).

 

Moog Inc., Elma, New York, has been awarded an $18,089,390 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for remanufacture/modification of B-1B servocyclinder over a five-year ordering period. Contractor will provide remanufacture of three different servocyclinders. Work will be performed in Elma, New York, and is expected to be complete by July 2022. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition. Fiscal 2017 funds in the amount of $5,751,674 are being obligated at time of award. Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8118-17-D-0031).

 

Honeywell International Inc., Aerospace - Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona, has been awarded a $14,000,000 shared ceiling increase modification (P00002) for additional within-scope research in the areas of power and thermal management system detailed design. The total cumulative shared ceiling is $34,000,000 for award of cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost, and cost-share task orders.  Work will be performed in Phoenix, Arizona, and is expected to be complete by July 14, 2022.  Air Force Research Laboratory Wright-Research Site, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-16-D-2616).

 

Veteran Corps of America, O'Fallon, Illinois, has been awarded an $8,439,525, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for contractor logistics support. Contractor will provide sustainment and site support. Work will be performed at 39 government sites, geographically dispersed around the continental U.S., and is expected to be complete by July 18, 2022. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition, and five proposals were received. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $2,347,976 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8574-17-D-0001).

 

NAVY

 

Lane Construction Corp., Chantilly, Virginia, is being awarded a $21,820,000 firm-fixed price contract for modernization of airfield lighting at Naval Air Station Oceana.  Performed work provides for the refurbishment and replacement of existing asphalt and portland concrete cement runway shoulder pavement, electrical infrastructures such as electrical vaults, electrical manholes, hand holes, conduits, wiring, lighting fixtures and signage, controls and equipment necessary for a complete and usable system for Runways 5L/23R and 14R/32L.  Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 2019.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $21,820,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with one proposal received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N40085-17-C-0320).

 

Colonna's Shipyard Inc.,* Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,620,005 firm-fixed-price contract for USNS Narragansett (T-ATF-167) fiscal 2017 docking phased maintenance availability.  Work will involve ship repair, maintenance, and modernization.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by January 2018.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $7,620,005 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured under full and open competition via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with three offers received.  The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N50054-17-C-0007).

 

L-3 Communications MariPro Inc., Goleta, California, is being awarded $7,172,174 for modification P00021 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N66604-12-C-2838).  This modification exercises an option for support of the Undersea Warfare Training Range which is being developed and fielded in the waters off of Naval Station Mayport, Florida, supporting Navy air, surface and sub-surface training.  Work will be performed in Goleta, California, and is expected to be completed in September 2024.  Fiscal 2017 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $7,172,174 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.

 

ARMY

 

Cherokee Nation Red Wing,* Tulsa, Oklahoma, was awarded a $16,263,462 firm-fixed-price contract for 100 explosively formed penetrator (EFP) armor kits.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 16, 2019.  U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-17-D-0076).
