CONTRACTS

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Rocky Brands Inc., Nelsonville, Ohio, has been awarded a maximum $101,915,091 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for hot weather combat boots. This was a competitive acquisition with two responses received. This is a one-year base year contract with four one-year option periods. Maximum dollar amount is for the life of the contract. Locations of performance are Ohio and Puerto Rico, with an Oct. 17, 2021 performance completion date. Using customer is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE1C1-17-D-1004).

 

NAVY

 

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $35,752,362 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to conduct risk reduction activities in support of the MQ-25 Unmanned Carrier Aviation Air System, including refining concepts and developing trade space for requirements generation in advance of the engineering and manufacturing development phase. Work will be performed in Rancho Bernardo, California (50 percent); Space Park, California (30 percent); and Palmdale, California (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2017.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds (Navy) in the amount of $35,752,362 are being obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity (N00019-17-C-0017).

 

Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Training, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $10,533,970 cost-plus-award-fee order against the previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00024-15-G-2303) to provide emergent availability advanced planning and execution for the littoral combat ship USS Milwaukee (LCS-5).  Work will be performed in Mayport, Florida, and is expected to be completed by June 2017.  Fiscal 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $10,533,970 will be obligated at order award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair, USN, Bath, Maine, is the contracting activity.

 

ARMY

 

KPB Architects-Coffman Engineers JV, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded a $ 18,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for an architect-engineer contract for multi-discipline services at various locations in Alaska. Bids were solicited via the Internet with 12 received with an estimated completion date of Oct. 18, 2021. Funding and work locations with be determined with each order. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, is the contracting activity (W911KB-17-D-0003).

 

AIR FORCE

 

Telecommunication Support Services Inc., Melbourne, Florida, has been awarded a $8,625,586 firm-fixed-price modification (P00026) to previously awarded contract FA4890-14-C-0013 for Mobile Air Surveillance System technical support. Contractor will provide operations and support for the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force-South satellite communications network. Work will be performed at Key West, Florida; and throughout the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility, primarily in Colombia. Work is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $3,100,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
