Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper met today in Tel Aviv with Israeli Minister of Defense Benjamin Gantz. Both leaders pledged to continue strengthening the U.S.-Israel defense partnership and lauded the two countries’ robust military-to-military cooperation. Minister Gantz expressed appreciation for the United States’ continued commitment to maintaining Israel’s Qualitative Military Edge (QME) and for its efforts to further peace and stability throughout the region.
