Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III has reaffirmed Department of Defense values and ethical conduct in a message to the DOD workforce. Secretary Austin emphasized the core values of honesty, integrity, character and selflessness, as well as ethical conduct, as being essential to the department's mission and to restoring and maintaining public trust in government.
