| A U.S. Marine Corp amphibious assault vehicle splashes into the sea as it departs the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) on Dec. 19, 2012. Green Bay as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility to conduct maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
