FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that
the President has nominated Vice Admiral Conrad C. Lautenbacher,
Jr., U.S. Navy, for reappointment to the grade of vice admiral
and assignment as Director, Office of Program Appraisal, Office
of the Secretary of the Navy in the Pentagon.
Vice Admiral
Lautenbacher is currently serving as Commander THIRD Fleet in San
Diego, California.
Vice Admiral Lautenbacher was born June 26, 1942 in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
