DoD Identifies Army Casualty

     The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

     Cpl. Robert F. Weber, 22, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died near the Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq, (about 30 miles south of Mosul, Iraq) as a result of a vehicle roll-over on Sept. 30. Weber was assigned to 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.

     This incident is under investigation.
