STATEMENT BY GENERAL JOHN M. SHALIKASHVILI, CHAIRMAN OF THE JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF
General Ron Fogleman has had a superb career of service to this country, and an outstanding tenure as Air Force chief of staff. As a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Fogleman was a strong supporter of programs to maintain the readiness of our Armed Forces and to take care of our people. His vast operational experience, keen insights, and big picture perspective made General Fogleman an important part of the Joint Chiefs team.
General Fogleman has enriched our military and our nation with his 34 years of faithful service. He will be missed. Joannie and I wish Ron and Miss Jane all the best in their future endeavors. |
