GENERAL OFFICER ASSIGNMENT
MAJOR GENERAL
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki announced today that Army Maj. Gen. Karl W. Eikenberry is being assigned as U.S. security coordinator and chief, Office of Military Cooperation, Afghanistan, Kabul, Afghanistan. Eikenberry was previously assigned as deputy director of Strategy, Plans, and Policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.
