General Officer Announcements

            Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
 
            Air Force Col. David H. Cyr has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as director, U.S. Air Force Chaplain Service Institute, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
 
            Air Force Col. Douglas J. Robb has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general while serving as command surgeon, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Frank J. Casserino has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the Under Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Stephen P. Gross has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, Aeronautical Systems Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Clay T. McCutchan has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobility assistant to the commander, 18th Air Force, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Frank J. Padilla has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Fla. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Loren S. Perlstein has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the deputy judge advocate general, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Jack W. Ramsaur II has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. Bradley C. Young has been nominated to the grade of major general while serving as mobilization assistant to the director, maintenance and logistics, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Frank E. Anderson has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the director, operations and training, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Patrick A. Cord has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as commander, 442nd Fighter Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Craig N. Gourley has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the director, operational plans and joint matters, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Donald C. Ralph has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the director, global operations, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. William F. Schauffert has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, 19th Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Jack K. Sewell Jr. has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the Air Force Chief of Chaplains, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Richard A. Shook Jr. has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the director, Plans and Programs, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va. 
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. Lance D. Undhjem has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Command and Control, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
 
            Air Force Reserve Col. John T. Winters Jr.has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general while serving as mobilization assistant to the commander, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Air Combat Command, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
