DoD Identifies Marine Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Alejandro Carrillo, 22, of Los Angeles, Calif., died Jan. 30 while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Carrillo was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 7, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
