DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Lt. Col. Peter E. Winston, 56, of Plant City, Fla., died Nov. 13, 2006, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, from a non-combat related incident while in Iraq. He was assigned to the 143rd Sustainment Command, Orlando, Fla.
The incident is under investigation.
