Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. Joseph Maguire for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as deputy director for Strategic Operational Planning Directorate, National Counter-Terrorism Center, Washington, D.C. Maguire is currently serving as commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, San Diego, Calif. |
