Flag Officer Assignments
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen announced the following flag officer assignment:
Rear Adm. (lower half) (selectee) James F. Caldwell is being assigned as deputy commander for global strike and integration, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. Caldwell is currently serving as assistant deputy director for Europe, NATO, Russia and Africa, J5, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C.
