General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Mitchell H. Stevenson for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as deputy chief of staff, G-4, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. Stevenson is currently serving as the commanding general, U.S. Army Combined Support Command and Fort Lee, Fort Lee, Va. |
