General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced that the President has nominated Marine Corps Lt. Gen. John M. Paxton Jr., for appointment as the director of operations, J-3, Joint Staff. Paxton is presently serving as the director for strategic plans and policy, J-5, Joint Staff, in Washington, D.C. |
