Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced today the following assignments:
Rear Adm. Archer M. Macy Jr., is being assigned as director, Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Organization, J8, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. Macy is currently serving as commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Steven R. Eastburg is being assigned as program executive officer, air anti-submarine warfare, assault and special mission programs, Patuxent River, Md. Eastburg is currently serving as commander, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division/assistant commander for research and engineering, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Kenneth E. Floyd is being assigned as commander, Strike Force Training Pacific, San Diego, Calif. Floyd is currently serving as deputy director, Air Warfare Division, N88B/director of Aviation and Aircraft Carrier Plans and Requirements Branch, N880, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Michael H. Mittelman is being assigned as medical officer, Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Va. Mittelman is currently serving as director, Medical Resources, Plans, and Policy Division, N931, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Donald P. Quinn, who has been selected to the rank of rear admiral, is being assigned as commander, Navy Personnel Command/ deputy chief of naval personnel, Millington, Tenn. Quinn is currently serving as commander, strike force training Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.
Rear Adm. (lower half) William M. Roberts is being assigned as director, Medical Resources, Plans, and Policy Division, N931, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. Roberts is currently serving as medical officer to the Marine Corps, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Garry R. White is being assigned as commander, Strike Force Training Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. White is currently serving as director, total force requirements, N12, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, DC.
Capt. Donald E. Gaddis, who has been selected to the rank of rear admiral (lower half), is being assigned as commander, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division/assistant commander for research and engineering, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. Gaddis is currently serving as program manager for Presidential Helicopters, Program Executive Office for Aviation, Patuxent River, Md.
