General Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President made the following nominations:
Marine Corps Reserve Brig. Gen. John M. Croley has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Croley is currently serving as the commanding general, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, in New Orleans, La.
Marine Corps Reserve Brig. Gen. Tracy L. Garrett has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Garrett is currently serving as the commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe; and commander, U. S. Marine Corps Forces, Africa, in Germany.
