General Officer Announcements

            Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Harold G. Bunch has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to assistant deputy commanding general for Reserve Affairs (Individual Mobilization Augmentee), Army Material Command, Fort Belvoir, Va. Bunch is currently serving as deputy commander for mobilization and operations (Individual Mobilization Augmentee), U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, Ill.
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Stuart M. Dyer has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 335thSignal Command (theater), East Point, Ga. Dyer is currently serving as deputy commander (troop program unit), 335th Signal Command (theater), East Point, Ga.
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Glenn J. Lesniak has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to commanding general (troop program unit), 88th Regional Support Command, Fort McCoy, Wis. Lesniak is currently serving as deputy commanding general (troop program unit), 81st Regional Support Command, Fort Jackson, S.C.
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Charles D. Luckey has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for reserve matters, Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C. Luckey most recently served as chief, Office of Security Cooperation, Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq, OOperation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq.
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Jeffrey W. Talley has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 84th Training Command (leader training), Fort McCoy, Wis. Talley is currently serving as commander (Troop program unit), 926th Engineer Brigade, Montgomery, Ala.
 
            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Luis P. Visot has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 377th Theater Support Command, New Orleans, La. Visot is currently serving as commander, (troop program unit), 4th Sustainment Command (expeditionary), San Antonio, Texas.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Mark C. Arnold has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to deputy commanding general (troop program unit), 81st Regional Support Command, Fort Jackson, S.C. Arnold is currently serving as operations officer (G-3) (troop program unit), 100th Training Division (operation support), Louisville, Ky.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Lawrence W. Brock III has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 359th Signal Brigade, Fort Gordon, Ga. Brock is currently serving as chief of staff (troop program unit), 335thSignal Command (theater), East Point, Ga.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Dwayne R. Edwards has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to deputy commanding general (troop program unit), 108th Training Command (initial entry training), Charlotte, N.C. Edwards is currently serving as deputy chief of staff, G-7 (troop program unit), 80th Training Command (The Army School System), Richmond, Va.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Steven J. Feldmann has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to deputy commander for Mobilization and Operations (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, Ill. Feldmann is currently serving as LOGCAP deputy program director-Afghanistan (troop program unit), Afghanistan.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Fernando Fernandez has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 1st Mission Support Command, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Fernandez is currently serving as commander (troop program unit), 166th Regional Support Group, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Jonathan G. Ives has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 364th Sustainment Command (expeditionary), Seattle, Wash. Ives is currently serving as deputy foreign policy advisor, Headquarters, European Command, Stuttgart, Germany.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Bud R. Jameson Jr., has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 926th Engineer Brigade, Montgomery, Ala. Jameson is currently serving as chief of staff (troop program unit), 90th Regional Readiness Command, North Little Rock, Ark.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Bryan R. Kelly has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), Medical Readiness and Training Command, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Kelly is currently serving as commander (troop program unit), 399th Combat Support Hospital, Worcester, Mass.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Jon D. Lee has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to deputy commanding general (troop program unit), 63rd Regional Support Command, Moffett Field, Calif. Lee is currently serving as chief of staff (troop program unit), 9th Mission Support Command, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Mark T. McQueen has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 1st Brigade (Battle Command Training Brigade), 75thDivision, Ellington Field, Texas. McQueen is currently serving as commander (troop program unit), 321st Civil Affairs Command, San Antonio, Texas.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Therese M. O’Brien has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 300th Military Police Brigade (Internment/Resettlement), Inkster, Mich. O’Brien is currently serving as commander (troop program unit), 55th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Belvoir, Va.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Lucas N. Polakowski has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 415th Chemical Brigade, Greenville, S.C. Polakowski is currently serving as deputy commander (troop program unit), 90th Regional Readiness Command, North Little Rock, Ark.
 
            Army Reserve Col. Peter T. Quinn has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to commander (troop program unit), 11th Theater Aviation Command, Fort Knox, Ky. Quinn is currently serving as commander (troop program unit), 3rd Battle Command Training Group, Birmingham, Ala.
 
            Army Reserve Col. James T. Williams has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general and assignment to deputy commander (troop program unit), 80th Training Command (The Army School System), Richmond, Va. Williams is currently serving as chief, G-7, Office of the Chief, Army Reserve, Washington, D.C.
